Integrations
ownCloud and Nextcloud
June reads documents from your ownCloud or Nextcloud server and saves the files it writes back to it, over WebDAV.
Connect an ownCloud or Nextcloud server and June can fetch past documents from it to work with, and put the files it writes for you back on it.
On your server, create an app password (in ownCloud, under Settings, then Security). Use it instead of your account password.
On the Integrations page, open the ownCloud card and fill in the server URL, your username and the app password. If your server lives under a sub-path, include it, as in
https://example.com/owncloud.Choose Test and connect. June checks the connection once before it saves anything.
Get last year's offer for Acme from my ownCloud and draft this year's from it.
Save the finished report to the Reports folder on my ownCloud.
What June can do
- List a folder and download files from your own files on the server.
- Upload files it wrote, creating the folder if it does not exist yet. A file uploaded under a name that already exists replaces that file, so name the folder and file when it matters.
You can connect several servers, one connection per server; give each its own connection name and tell June which one to use.
What June does not do
- It reaches only the files of the account you connected.
- It moves files of up to 4 MB in either direction.
- The server must be reachable over HTTPS from the internet; a server only on your home network or VPN cannot be connected.
- It uses this connection only in your own chats and projects, not in an organization's chats (why).
